WFMW ~ Garlic Parmesean Chicken

Posted by Carol on April 5, 2008

Shannon asked for 5 ingredient recipes today for Works for me Wednesday.  I’ve made this recipe many times over the years and it is a family favorite.  Even College Son who hates chicken will eat it.  Be sure to check out more great recipes over at Rocks in my Dryer!

Garlic Parmesean Chicken

3/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup parmesean cheese

1/2 stick butter

2 cloves garlic chopped

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix breadcrumbs and parmesean cheese together in a pie plate.  Rinse chicken breast with water and drag through breadcrumb mixture until coated.  Place chicken in a baking dish.  Melt the butter and stir in the chopped garlic. Pour over breaded chicken.  Bake 25-30 minutes until chicken is no longer pink inside.

Just a reminder that I will be hosting Saturday Stirrings here on, well, uhm, Saturday.  It is a recipe carnival that is held each week.  So come on over and post any kind of recipe you like – perhaps something you made for your 4th of July cookout that was a big hit with everyone!
